"Misconnect"

Misconnect is an independent short-narrative film capturing a slice-of-life in a surreal world between two old friends who haven’t connected in years.

JULIO: 25-30, LATINO/LATINX

Julio grew up in a barrio near the Southside of the city before heading upstate to a private 4-year. He didn’t return home while at school since he was so eager to leave in the first place. Ultimately, he decided to move back once he finished his undergrad.

MIGUEL: 25-30, LATINO/LATINX

Miguel grew up with Julio, but stayed in the Southside after high school and decided to work different 9-5s over the years. He doesn’t really keep in contact with old friends and mostly keeps to himself. Some might say he hasn’t really changed much.
